It operates identically to a normal Gravity Hammer except that it has a faster swinging speed and a longer lunge range. These improvements make the ''Corpsemaker'' more powerful when dealing with multiple enemies in close range and can further boost its utility as a weapon for trick jumps, which are done with the player looking down at the ground, jumping, activating Smart-Link to stabilize themselves in the air, and then swinging with the ''Corpsemaker'' repeatedly.{{Ref/Reuse|H5G}}
