Chieftain is a high rank in the [[Brute]] caste system. The only known holder of this title was [[Tartarus]]. It is unknown if this rank holds any signifigante influence in the [[High Council]]. The Cheiftain does, however, speak for the [[Brutes]] to both the High Council and the [[High Prophets]]. | |||
Tartarus used a special weapon called a [[Fist of Rukt]], a gravy hammer, that may have also signified that the wearer was the leader or "Cheiftan". In the [[Starry Night|new Halo 3 trailer]] which aired on ESPN you can see a [[Brute]] with a Gravity Hammer. | |||
