The side the players start on has all of the weapons on the map. [[rocket launcher]]s are found downstairs in a dispenser on the wall. Extra ammunition for rocket launchers are found directly across the map (across the bridge). [[Sniper rifle]]s can be found upstairs on both sides of the map, resting against the wall. Sniper Rifle ammunition can be found, again, across the map (look for them near the monster closets on the side wall). [[Machine gun turret]]s can be found both upstairs and downstairs. The two turrets downstairs are slightly exposed on their sides. The ones upstairs are in perfect view of any enemy who comes up via the two [[gravity lifts]]. They, however, lack protection and are vulnerable to grenades. The spare weapons, grenades and [[health packs]] downstairs are found inside the base, allowing the player to grab them without resistance. The weapons, grenades and health packs upstairs, however, are on the outside where awaiting enemies are, possibly making it difficult for the player to gain access to these items. | The side the players start on has all of the weapons on the map. ===Strategy===
Chasm Ten is a firefight that rewards careful strategy and knowing when to hunker down under cover in the corridors. Only Chieftains with gravity hammers and the occasional brute enter the corridors on the upper level. Rarely, a stealth brute with napalm grenades will too, so watch out for that. The engineers' shields often make enemies more or less invincible in later rounds on Legendary, especially drones. It's a good idea to always walk some plasma pistols into a corridor. A quick overcharged bolt from a plasma pistol brings down engineers.
Rather than expend rockets on Hunters, consider picking off the rest of the Covenent before taking them on. If there is a single one or if they get separated, with a bit of luck and skill, you can run little circles around them while emptying your SMG mag into their backs. Also sticking them with as many sticky or spike grenades can damage their health or even bring them down. Four stickies can do the trick.
One trick is when there are only two enemies remaining, you can with some luck load up on sniper and rocket ammo, and have a full sniper rifle and rocket launcher ready for the next round. Swap them regularly to stop them despawning.
