Brutes is the sixth track (Disc 1 Track 6) in Halo 3: Original Soundtrack, and plays during the Halo 3 campaign level Crow's Nest. It is composed of Brutes (0:00-0:35), Lost (0:35-2:29), Dream Again (2:29-3:59), and We're Done Here (3:59-5:07).

Brutes
Brutes (0:35) is a rearrangement of the climatic second section of Enough Dead Heroes (from Halo: Original Soundtrack. The piece plays during the battle with the Jiralhanae in the Crow's Nest barracks.
Brutes is a musical track in the Halo 3: Original Soundtrack. It includes the tracks Brutes, Lost, Dream Again, and We're Done Here. It runs for exactly 5 minutes and 07.591 seconds (5:07.591) and plays during the Halo 3 campaign mission Crow's Nest.

Brutes plays during the battle with the Brutes in the Crow's Nest barracks. It starts off with a remix of the climax of the Halo: Original Soundtrack song Enough Dead Heroes, which plays for around 0:35.

Lost starts when the Master Chief heads up the elevator after the barracks, and during the ensuing fight against Jump-pack Brutes. It remains relatively quiet until 0:53, when a new melody is introduced by a high synth/wind note, with percussion joining in at approximately 1:15. At about 2:00, this melody is gradually replaced by dissonant string notes and choral voices, similar to (but slower than) the Sacred Icon Suite from the Halo 2: Original Soundtrack. Lost runs for around 1:54.

Lost
Dream Again, a modified version of the Halo Original Soundtrack song, Perchance to Dream and the Halo 2 Original Soundtrack song, Flawed Legacy , seemingly mixed with Under Cover of Night begins to dominate the other sounds, starting at about 2:29. This gradually fades out of the track until, at about 3:58, it can be heard no more. Dream Again plays in the service tunnel leading to the Motor Pool, where the player fights many Grunts on turrets. This piece plays for around 1:30.
Lost (1:54) begins with quiet ambiance, when a new melody is introduced by a high synth/wind note, with percussion joining in. This melody is gradually replaced by dissonant string notes and choral voices, similar to Veins of Stone (from Sacred Icon Suite in Halo 2: Original Soundtrack), albeit slower. The piece plays when John-117 takes the elevator outside the barracks, and during the ensuing fight against Jiralhanae Jumpers. Lost was reprised in Overcome (from the later track Behold a Pale Horse).

Dream Again
We're Done Here, which starts at 3:59, plays while the Master Chief flees from Crow's Nest after arming the bomb. Electronic sounds are once again generated, but this time at a faster tempo. A remix of the "Delta Halo Theme" from Halo 2 appears in this last movement. We're Done Here plays for 1:06.
Dream Again (1:30) is a rearrangement of its namesake, Perchance to Dream (from Halo Original Soundtrack), with louder synth notes and the addition of vocals. This gradually fades out. The piece plays in the service tunnel leading to the motor pool, where the John-117 encounters Unggoy on Peks.

We’re Done Here
*Brutes is a remix of the climax of Enough Dead Heroes (famously played when fighting Hunters for the first time).
We're Done Here (1:08) features electronic sounds and muted percussion at a faster tempo. The electronic sounds plays a melody which has incorporated the "Halo 2 monk theme" from Delta Halo Suite. High strings return and the piece ends. The piece plays while John-117 flees from Crow's Nest after arming the bomb, and is alluded by the name of the piece.
*Lost features a soft high and shimmering synth melody, similar to Orbit of Glass, and ends with a similar dissonant string/choral arrangement as heard in the Sacred Icon Suite.
*Dream Again is a combined remix of Perchance to Dream and Under Cover of Night.
*The Delta Halo Theme is featured in the last movement, We're Done Here.
*In the Halo 3 gameplay, this is played when the Master Chief is trying to escape the base after activating the bomb in the Crow's Nest base.
