In [[2552#October|October 2552]], the [[Prophet of Regret]] discovered Earth with his [[Fleet of Sacred Consecration|fleet]].{{Ref/Level|H2|[[Cairo Station]]}} With the discovery, the planet was attacked by Covenant forces.{{Ref/Level|H2|[[Outskirts]]}}

==Battle==
Luna's [[skyhook]] defense complexes came under attack by the [[Covenant]] and were defended by [[ONI Security]] personnel.<ref name="H4G">[http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-US/Halo4Guide ''Halo Waypoint:'' Halo 4 Interactive Guide]</ref>  Prototype versions of the [[ORBITAL-class Mjolnir]] were rushed into service{{Ref/Game|H4|[[ORBITAL-class Mjolnir]] description (MCC)}} in order to protect these skyhook complexes.{{Ref/Game|H4|[[ORBITAL-class Mjolnir]] description}}
