The '''Armory of Reckoning''' was a [[Banished]]-operated munitions and weapons production facility established on [[Installation 07]] during the [[Battle for Zeta Halo]]. ==History==
The Armory of Reckoning was established as early as [[2560#April|April 15, 2560]].{{Ref/Novel|TRP|Chapter=23|Quote=With the Grunts' playground only a klick away from a heavily guarded Banished armory, they'd had little choice.}} It was personally installed by [[War Chief]] [[Escharum]], who placed Screecleaver Bannix in charge of the outpost.{{Ref/Site|Id=Waypoint|URL=https://www.halowaypoint.com/news/canon-fodder-of-protocols-and-prisons|Site=Halo Waypoint|Page=Cannon Fodder: Of Protocols and Prisons|D=20|M=3|Y=2022}} 

At some point prior to May 28, 2560, Escharum learned that some of the troops stationed at the Armory believed themselves deserving of greater status, renown, and adulation. He subsequently warned Bannix to get the Armory's troops under control or else he would replace Bannix.{{Ref/Reuse|A Warning}} Around the same time, at least six Jiralhanae at the Armory attempted to mutiny, in part due to a shortage of meat. Bannix and the other [[Jiralhanae Chieftain|Chieftains]] swiftly crushed the mutineers. [[Unggoy]] [[High Sumpter]] [[Bingflip]] witnessed the slaughter and later told his friend [[Pubflem]] that while the ill-fated revolt had not resulted in any change in management at the Armory, there was now a lot more meat available.{{Ref/Game|Id=Of Unrest and Unggoy|HI|Audio log (Halo Infinite)#Outpost Intel 4|Banished Audio Log|Detail=Outpost Intel #1 - Of Unrest and Unggoy}} In response to both the mutiny and Escharum's warning, Bannix declared that any insubordination and infighting at the Armory would be punished by death.{{Ref/Reuse|A Warning}}{{Ref/Reuse|Waypoint}}

On or after [[2560#May|May 28]], [[2560]], [[Master Chief Petty Officer|Master Chief]] [[John-117]] discovered the outpost. His [[Artificial intelligence|AI]] companion, [[The Weapon]], determined that the Armory was down to three functioning [[ammo printer]]s. The Chief attacked the Armory and, despite resistance from the Banished guards, destroyed all three ammo printers, crippling the facility. At the time of the Master Chief's raid, five [[UNSC Marine Corps|marines]] were being held [[prisoner of war|captive]] at the Armory.{{Ref/Quest|Id=Armory of Reckoning|HI|Connections|Armory of Reckoning}}

This facility is the site responsible for manufacturing various weapons developed by technicians aboard the ''[[Ghost of Barolon]]'' such as the [[Disruptor|Sicatt Workshop Disruptor]], the [[Sicatt Workshop shock rifle|Sicatt Workshop Shock Rifle]] and the [[Dynamo grenade|Sicatt Workshop Dynamo Grenade]], as well as the [[Ravager Rebound]], a variant of the [[Veporokk Workshop Ravager]] that bounces plasma projectiles on impact.{{Ref/Book|Enc22|Page=477}}

==Production notes==
According to the ''[[Armory Infinitum]]'' entry on the Ravager Rebound, the Armory of Reckoning was already established and manufacturing weapons for requisition before [[Battle of the Mortal Reverie|the assault]] on the {{UNSCShip|Mortal Reverie}}. However, in ''[[Halo Infinite]]'', the outpost is located near the wreckage, being one of the closest points of interest in the region; the outpost is also adjacent to a mountain pass that was seemingly referenced in ''[[Halo: The Rubicon Protocol]]'' as where Banished forces launched their assault. Corroborating this, the nearby field is heavily charred and blackened, which seemingly implies it was the key battlefield where UNSC forces laid a minefield and staged a defense against the Banished. As such, it is unlikely for the outpost to be located at its in-game location before the assault on the ''Mortal Reverie''; though, it is possible the outpost was established elsewhere before it was relocated to its current location after the Banished claimed the ''Reverie''.
