The ''Ardent Prayer'' was launched from its shipyard during the Twentieth [[Ages of Discovery|Age of Discovery]] (circa [[2070]]), having being designed and by the [[Forgemasters of Tanus]] and the [[Gorgon Assembly Vault]] under the watchful eyes of Master Shipwright [[Ckmu 'Raboree]] and Apprentice Hiveseeker [[Tek'ch]]. It was assigned as an exploration vessel, traveling to distant stars and charting dangerous [[slipspace]] routes, and fought hostile civilizations that would not accept the Covenant's [[Great Journey|religion]]. Unfortunately, the ''Ardent Prayer'' would gain no battle honors for its service and its duties were considered beneath the notice of true warriors.
