There are a total of forty-nine '''achievements''' that were shipped with the game totaling 1,000 gamerscore in ''[[Halo: Reach]]'': twenty-three Campaign, seven Firefight, four [[Multiplayer]], six Training, and nine Player Experience achievements.
The following [[Achievement|achievements]] have been confirmed in the 7/9/10 Bungie Weekly Update<ref>[http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&link=BWU_070910 '''Bungie.net''': ''Bungie Weekly Update: 07.09.10'']</ref>, the 7/16/10 Bungie Weekly Update <ref>[http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&cid=27328 '''Bungie.net''': ''Bungie Weekly Update 07.16.10'']</ref>, and the 7/30/10 Bungie Weekly Update<ref>[http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&link=BWU_073010 '''Bungie.net''': ''Bungie Weekly Update: 07.30.10'']</ref>. A picture showing all of them was also released, but only a select few names of achievements were shown. There will be a total of forty-nine achievements totaling 1,000 gamerscore in ''[[Halo: Reach]]'' when it ships: twenty-three Campaign, seven Firefight, four [[Multiplayer]], six [[Training]], and nine [[Player Experience]] achievements. Exactly what Training is is uncertain, though it has been confirmed that some of the Training achievements can be unlocked while playing both Campaign and Firefight. Player Experience refers to accomplishments such as advancing in rank and purchasing different pieces of armor from the [[Armory]].


The [[Noble Map Pack]] and [[Defiant Map Pack]] DLC packs added another ten achievements to ''Halo: Reach'', with seven and three, respectively.  An additional three achievements were released for the Defiant Map Pack alongside the release of the [[Anniversary Map Pack]] which also included another [[seven]] achievements.
On 07/30/10, the names and prerequisites of the Achievements were confirmed.
