*An early depiction of A Company made an appearance in the [[Halo 2 E3 demo|''Halo 2'' E3 demo]] under the designation "405th", which operated in [[Diego Garcia]]. In the demo, John-117 was greeted by a Corporal named Perez at the Marine command post, and was led to a Sergeant named Banks, who had taken over command after the Lieutenant was incapacitated.
*If [[Staff Sergeant]] [[Banks]] was in command of A Company, as [[Corporal Perez]] says, that means that all of the officers  in the 405th had been killed.
