Bravo-21 made his way towards a squad of [[Marines]] as they were holding off numerous [[Brutes]]. After arriving, he helped his comrade out of the [[Warthog]] as a medic treated Bravo-22. He then moved towards a few [[Marines]] near cover. After listening to a sit-rep, he took a [[SRS99D-S2 AM Sniper Rifle]] and repelled a squad of Brutes attempting to flank the [[UNSC Marine]] position. He ordered the [[Marines]] to hold their position, as it was a vital location to their objective, which was to locate the [[Master Chief]] entering [[Earth]]'s atmosphere in order to make a possible extraction for the [[SPARTAN]].

His first two shots were immediate kills as the two [[Brutes]] fell dead. The camera then showed him firing a third round, however, it doesn't show if it found a target. Right after that, T. Rymann heard a growl and turned to see that he was being attacked by a [[Brute Chieftain]] wielding a [[Gravity Hammer]]. After dropping the [[Sniper Rifle]] and dodging the first swing, Bravo-21 tried to flee as he avoided a [[Spike Grenade]], which misses him and hits a nearby wall, then falls over a bump on the ground while facing the [[Brute Chieftain]]. However, he took his [[M6G]] out of his abdomen holster and got a single shot off with his [[Magnum]], the [[Brute Chieftain]] swings again, striking him in the chest and knocking T. Rymann against a wall and spraying his blood against the cement. As he fell to the ground, injured, the [[Chieftain]] swung again, crushing Rymann's body with the hammer, forcing him to drop his [[M6G]] out of his hands while at the same time killing him.

After his death, when the remaining soldiers retreated, his body was left out on the battle field. Is is unknow if it was retrieved of not but it is highly probable the it was after the area was clear.
