Arthur was a Spartan-II supersoldier who was abducted at the age of six and conscripted into the SPARTAN-II Program. He served in many battles against the Covenant, but ultimately met his end during a mission to secure a high priority package on board a Covenant CCS-class Battlecruiser, where he was shot down by Seraphs while trying to cover Kelly-087, who's Booster Frame had been damaged.[1]
