When Buck and Dare made contact with Romeo, he was on the run from the Unggoy and [[Cortana]]'s [[armiger]]s who had destroyed the embassy after Balaho submitted to Created rule. The two managed to rescue Romeo in a [[Condor]] as he was cornered, but he revealed that he had been trying to save survivors from the embassy by finding them a ship to get off of the planet.
